A nationally known, family-owned automotive tire and service business headquartered in Cincinnati is looking to hire new employees.

Tire Discounters, which was established in 1976 with a single bay store on Wooster Pike, has grown to more than 45 locations in the Cincinnati-Dayton region with additional stores totaling more than 110 locations across Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama, according to Tiffany Murphy, the company’s talent acquisition manager.

It employs more than 1,200 people across all its locations. Tire Discounters established its first store in Butler county in 1995. It now has five stores in Butler County employing approximately 40 people, Murphy said.

In addition, it also has Butler residents traveling to surrounding counties to work at one of it 45 local stores, warehouse or home office locations.

With the company’s rapid growth, it’s now hiring in local communities across six states.

“In Butler County we’re adding entry level and experienced tire technicians, service technicians, salespeople and management trainees,” Murphy said. “We’d like to add another 10 teammates this year in Butler County. In addition to our store associates, we also have a distribution center and warehouse right down the road in Sharonville that’s hiring warehouse workers and local route drivers.”
